The Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference and Gov. Phil Bredesen have joined together to create the Meth Destroys Youth Leadership Council (YLC). The YLC will be made up of high school students from across Tennessee who want to raise awareness among their peers and in their communities about the devastating effects of meth. While there will be hundreds of Council members, only 200 will be invited to represent their areas of the state at the first Meth Destroys Youth Leadership Summit in downtown Nashville on April 25. At the Summit, YLC representatives will have the opportunity to meet with one another, former meth addicts, district attorneys and Gov. Bredesen to discuss how they can help stop the meth epidemic.*
