teacher"s guide

One of the priorities of the Meth Destroys campaign is to raise awareness among Tennessee's young citizens of meth's negative effects.  Please help the District Attorneys share the Meth Destroys message with youth by using the following materials to teach them about the drug: the Teacher's Guide to Suggested Activities for Middle and High School Students, brochures, posters and a DVD featuring four real-life stories of Tennesseans recovering from meth addictions.

The development of the Teacher's Guide was a collaborative effort between Meth Destroys and the Tennessee Department of Education, and is aimed at providing teachers with a resource to help educate students on the dangers of meth use.

**Some notes about the Meth Destroys materials:

They contain extremely unpleasant images. Focus groups with students across the state indicated that meth's disgusting side effects impact students tremendously.

They are real. Another factor the students mentioned consistently was the importance of hearing from other Tennesseans. All the Meth Destroys materials feature the stories of Tennessee residents.
